The 1st Ohio Cowboy Mounted Shooters Association (1st Ohio CMSA) is a non-profit organization committed to the exciting sport of Mounted Shooting.  We are affiliated with the largest association, the Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association (CMSA).  CMSA is located in Columbia, Tennessee, and currently has over 8,500 members in the United States, Canada, Sweden, and Germany.

1st Ohio CMSA is located in Cincinnati, Ohio, and enjoys important status within the CMSA family.  1st Ohio was the first CMSA club east of the Mississippi River (thus the name 1st Ohio).  1st Ohio has a legacy of important and successful competitors within our membership.  We have one of 12 Cowboys that reside in the CMSA Hall of Fame, and the current Chairman of the National Advisory Board.  1st Ohio members have Championship Wins at the National and World Championship competitions, along with wins in regional shoots such as the Midwest Championships, the Eastern Championships, and the Western US Championships.

As a sponsor, you will enjoy the patronage of our members and members from surrounding clubs.  1st Ohio has members from Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, and Pennsylvania.  As a Major Sponsor, your banner will hang on the arena fence inside the competition area.  These banners are highly visible at all times during the competition.  In 2009, 1st Ohio CMSA hosted shoots over the course of 21 days in six different arenas; that's 21 days that your banner is visible to competitors and spectators. 

In addition, as a Major Sponsor, one of our two-day competition shoots will be named for you (for example, "The Sundowner Trailers Meetin' in Miamitown Shoot").  During that competition, your company will be mentioned several times each day.  You will be invited to set up your product exclusively at that shoot, and set up your product at any of our other shoots (as long as there's no conflict with another Major Sponsor).  A banner advertisement will be placed on our web site's main page (1stohio.com) for a full year, and an additional link will be placed on our link page.
